Alexandra Burke the 2008 X Factor winner has been mentioned by the media to have her eye on cracking the US recently, and that dream has now come true, as she has now been signed up by non other than Sony BMG in the US for a whopping S3.5milion recording contract.

The label she will be under is Epic, which is part of the huge Sony BMG Empire, and she will be side by side with top names in the music industry such as Rihanna and Beyonce that are also signed to the Sony BMG brand. This puts her in a key position to crack the notoriously hard US market.

The record label thinks Alexandra Burke has the big sound that the US loves, and puts Alexandra at high odds on to do as well as Leona Lewis, the previous X Factor winner in 2006.

Acccording to quality broadsheet sources the first album for Alexandra Burke will have on an target release date of November 09, and the whole recording contract is based on a 5 album deal!
